RULES & GUIDELINES
GENERAL RULES
1. Be Respectful: This is one of the most important rules out there. Ever heard of the expression 'treat others how you want to be treated?' Well that applies here especially. If you act up and the founders of the group agree, we have the power to either demote you or kick you out. Be honest with us, because we don't bite. Honestly! We're good people, and support you. If you have a problem with someone in the group, let us know and we'll try to work things out.
2. No Drama: Don't start it. Don't encourage it. Don't bring it. Keep role-play, or in character, related drama to a appropriate, realistic, and most importantly tolerable level. Drama constantly is exhausting, annoying, and all around not fun for the rest of the group. And even less pleasant for you when the staff has to clean it up and you receive a warning for excessive drama. Keep clan, gathering, and character drama where it should be in role-plays and non- related drama out of the group.
3. Be Appropriate: Talk about inappropriate or explicit topics is not permitted on this site at all times. Please keep all of your messages, In-Character and Out-of-Character, clean and free of controversial or unsuitable material.
4. No Spamming or Advertising: Please do not double-post or advertise outside of the Advertising Area. Out-Of-Character content should be kept to OOC areas, and not posted in roleplay boards or threads.
5. No God-modding or Power-Playing: God-modding is where you have a character in some sort of battle, and they are practically 'untouchable.' All of the opponent's attacks miss their mark, while all of yours seem to hit. Most of the time, they kill in one hit. This is what we want to avoid. Instead of auto-hitting, try using words such as 'aiming' or 'attempting' to hit, so the opponent has the option to dodge if they wish.
6. Be Realistic: These cats live on an island, so keep in mind that there is no winter or leaf-bare, only a dry and wet season. Cats cannot have neon, sparkly fur colors, but you are welcome to be creative designing with natural colors if you wish. We are lax with eye colors too- just no glowing eyes or markings please. Note that cats cannot have mates until they are of warrior age, nor can they have special powers.
7. Have fun: Undoubtedly the most important rule comes at lucky number seven. Relax and have fun; we come to roleplay to get away from stress and drama. TDC should be a warrior roleplay haven, so sit back and have fun with your plots and writing!
